Mindfulness
Mindfulness is giving your full attention to what you are doing. Doing it with intentionality. Doing one thing at a time.
It is the heart of Zen and is essential for building the karma required for awakening.
Daily Reading
Read about Enlightenment. Focus on it. What you focus on, you become.
Reading entrains the mind to a particular set of values and a paradigmatic orientation. Fifteen minutes a day attunes us to something essential, beautiful, and powerful.
When you read, feel into the words. Feel into the mind of the author. This is your satsang—your association with truth.
You are associating with someone, perhaps from another century or millennium, who has touched something ancient and perennial.
Film study is the study of myth. Through shared stories, archetypes, and symbolic journeys, we come to understand the human condition and our own movement toward awakening. Film creates a shared mythology — a common language through which community, insight, and recognition naturally arise.
Power Days are the true Holidays (Holy Days). They provide a cosmic potency that deepens meditative potential. Listed below are the next three Power Days and their precise times. It is recommended to meditate through the power moment on each particular day— alone in nature, with friends and Sangha, or in any way that feels inspired.

Our focus is Enlightenment itself. Not just any one refraction of its purity—Buddhism, yoga, Christianity, Vipassana, or any particular tradition one may identify with—but them all. True practice exists beyond any single practice. Enlightenment is a love and commitment to the teaching of which there is only one ontological reality.
Here, we seek to uncover the universal truths that echo across paradigms and eras, religions and teachers—distilling those truths so they may clearly point to the one liberating factor within them all: an aspiration toward ultimate awakening, expressed through meditation, mindfulness, and a direct comprehension of the nature of life and consciousness.
Enlightenment is ontological and nonsectarian. It is the universal attractor behind all authentic practices, and the seed from which they originally arose.
In our study together, we gather around it as a central focus, studying its many forms and expressions, cherishing them all, so we may access the true center to which they point in the direct experience of light and love.
These are enlightened and awakened beings who entered profound states of consciousness—states of samadhi, rapture, and divinity. Many of them knew the ultimate reality of nirvana, tapped into the deeper templates of existence, lived in the causal planes of light, and carried a great deal of energy, power, and love.
